| Dear Friends in the Lord, A blessed Fall to you! My purpose in writing you today is to extend a special invitation to all the men of our archdiocese to join me at the 2019 Archdiocesan Men’s Conference on Saturday, November 2, at SUNY Purchase Performing Arts Center. The lineup of speakers includes Mr. Joe Sweeney, New York Times Best Selling Author; Ryan Holladay, Christian pastor of Lower Manhattan Community Church; and myself. The theme for the conference is “Men of Character in Today’s World.” It is sure to be a day of good fellowship, spiritual renewal, and practical insights on how we can grow in character and hope. It is ever more important to affirm our faith today and I encourage you to nudge the men you know, have them join me on Saturday, November 2 to do just that. Our program starts at 10:00 AM and concludes with the celebration of Holy Mass for Sunday at 4:00 PM. In addition to the Eucharist, there will also be the opportunity to experience God’s mercy in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Registration includes a boxed lunch and afternoon refreshments.
