PLAQUE DEDICATION On Monday, September 9, 2019, at 1100 hours, a Plaque Dedication will be held honoring the memory of Firefighter John R. Elges, L-134, who died on September 15, 2018. The dedication will take place in the quarters of E-268, E-328 & L-134, 16-15 Central Avenue, Far Rockaway, NY. All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform. MEMORIAL MASS On Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at 1030 hours, E-73/L-42 will host a Memorial Mass in quarters honoring the memory of DC Joseph Marchbanks Jr., Lt. Raymond Murphy, L-16, Lt. Brian Ahearn, E-230, FF Peter Bielfeld, L-42 and Father Mychal Judge, who made the supreme sacrifice on September 11, 2001. Former members of B-26 and B-55 who have passed on will also be remembered. There will also be a special dedication and remembrance of FF James Ginty, L-42. All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform. NEVER FORGET FOUNDATION 9/11 MEMORIAL MASS The Never Forget Foundation invites you to their 9/11 Memorial Mass on Sunday, September 15, 2019, at St. Frances De Chantel Church. The Memorial Mass is at 10:00 AM, followed by a Wreath Laying Ceremony at 11:30 AM at the Redwood Club, 2680 Schurz Avenue, Bronx, NY 10465. The dedication will take place in the quarters of Engine 255 & Ladder 157, 1367 Rogers Avenue, Brooklyn, NY. All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend.
