John Finucane, Finucane Toner Law offices, Belfast, N. Ireland:
John is the son of human rights lawyer Pat Finucane, 39, who was shot dead by loyalist paramilitaries in front of his three children and wife Geraldine at their home in north Belfast on February 12, 1989. In 2011, the UK Government under then PM David Cameron finally admitted Finucane’s killers had acted in collusion with British intelligence services, but no one has ever been prosecuted. This week, 30 years since her husband’s murder, the Supreme Court in London ruled that Mrs Finucane had indeed been given “an unequivocal undertaking to hold a public inquiry into Mr Finucane’s death”. The Investigation was “not effective”, thus paving the way for a new inquiry.

Siobhan and Dan Dennehywill lead Peekskill’s 30th St. Patrick’s Day Parade as its Grand Marshals on Sunday March 9:
Siobhan, Director, Emerald Isle Immigration Center has also been chosen as Aide-at-Large to Grand Marshal Brian O’Dwyer for the NYC St. Patrick’s Day parade on Saturday March 16th.  Dan, a frequent contributor to Adrian’s program, is Ancient Order of Hibernians National Director & AOH National Immigration Chair and Founding Chairperson of Hudson Valley Irish Center and Festival. The AOH, led by President Jim McKay and LAOH President Carol Sheyer, have recently returned from a 9-day fact-finding mission to Ireland.
