Finalized details/arrangements for Thomas E Kelly, father of Jim Kelly Division 35 member

For my family and family close friends….It’s not appropriate, at least I don’t think so, to post personal family matters…. I’ve never done that before….But it’s today’s realistic way of the reaching of hundreds of family & friends of the family to communicate/seeking information….As all family will be in travel starting tomorrow….
** Finalized details/arrignments for Dad, “Thomas E Kelly”, Devout loving husband to Diane R Kelly. Loving Father to myself, Joseph & Dennis. Most loving Grandfather to ten & Great-Grandfather to one. Our parents wedding anniversary would have been next week. I had promised Dad the coming to the opening day game for the NY Mets next week.
Last month, the very day Dad brought me to his home from the hospital for compassionate care from my quad heart surgery, was the very SAME day Dad entered the hospital “unexpectedly” and never came out. My hardest day in my life….Dad loved his family so much, especially his grandchildren….
** Mass Cards may be mailed to our Mom, Mrs. Diane Kelly (Message me for mailing address).

Wake/Calling hours (Two days) are this Saturday March 25, & Sunday March 26, Calling Hours of 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM…..
** Mass will be at St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church – 6135 Amboy Road (Cross Maguire Ave), Staten Island, Phone 718-984-4572
Mass is this Monday morning, 27th @ 10:30 AM

** Family/Friends Bereavement Luncheon at the “Mansion Grand”, 141 Mansion Avenue, Staten Island, Phone 718-605-9200 (Former Windjammer Restaurant/Off Hylan Blvd/McKee Avenue – On the waterfront + boatyards)
** For recommendation of hotels for any long distance family/friends travelers who were planning on attending, please be advised, “some” franchise hotels have been leased to City of New York “inland” of Staten Island. The preferred “newer” businessman franchise type of hotels were recently built & are mostly located on South Avenue area, just off of the 440 more known as the “West Shore Expressway” of Staten Island. (Close proximity to funeral home) include breakfast etc, located nearest to Newark Airport/NJ. Run in cost of approximately $130/$150 per night.
ANY problems/questions please feel free to give me a call, I will be in Staten Island on Friday late afternoon, bringing Mom down from Clifton Park. The whole Kelly Family sincerely appriciates all the outpour of love and concern to us during these most difficult and emotional times….Thank you all, God Bless Always.
