On Friday., April 27, 2017, at 11 AM, the Commodore Barry Club will honor Commodore John Barry’s Birthday at Commodore Barry Park, North Elliot Place and Flushing Avenue, Brooklyn.
We are delighted that Peter Lovett, affiliated with the New York City Parks Department, will join with us this year and we will have the pleasure of his hand and others’ company on April 27th at 11:00am this year — when we will once again place a wreath on the stone / monument in Commodore Barry Park. There are also other activities planned for April 27th in Commodore Barry Park — which also honors Arbor Day. Members who need transportation will gather at Harbor Car Service, 95th Street and 5th Avenue, Brooklyn at 9:30 AM. If you have a car and wish to help out by carrying some passengers, please let me know. Looking foward to a memorable trip.
