Margaret [Oct 4, 1928 – Sep 22, 2021 (Age 92)] was well known to the Brooklyn Hibernians, she is from a Hibernian Family, her late husband Gene, her sons, her daughters Kathy, Julie, and Megin (Div. 22) are all Hibernians. Margaret attended many Hibernian and Irish events in Brooklyn. She was a parishioner at The Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help for over 60 years. Her family owns the Leif Bar on Fifth Ave. in Bay Ridge, the home of many Irish events.

Please stop and say a prayer for Margaret and her Family.

A Celtic Prayer

As Margaret goes off to tir na nog mean Tír na nÓg.

Tír na nÓg is the place of the Blessed.

There is no pain. There is no sorrow.

There is only great joy.

Weep but briefly for our friend,

for by now Margaret has obtained a pleasure that is unattainable on this Earthly Realm

.For by now our friend Margaret Reilly has seen the face of God.

Proud grandmother of Catherine, Philip, John, Paul, Jennifer, Matthew, Jeannie, Jessica, Thea, and Joe. Dear sister of Kathleen Balldachino (the late Joseph), Bea McAree (Patrick), Willie White (Alice), the late John White (Kathleen), the late Rose Grey (Ned), and the late Patrick White (Rose). Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Margaret will be dearly missed by a countless number of friends.
