Death of Margaret Nelson

It is with great sadness that I inform you of the death of our sister Margaret ‘Peggy’ Nelson (Div 6, Greenpoint, Bklyn).
Sister Hibernians please assemble at D’Arienzo Funeral Home at 7:30pm on Friday evening to pay our final farewell to our sister, Peggy Nelson.
Please wear sashes.
All members that will be attending Peggy’s Funeral Mass please wear sashes and arrive by 10:15am on Saturday. — Please stop and say a prayer for Peggy.
As Peggy goes off to Tir N’ anOg.
Tir N’anOg is the place of the Blessed. There is no pain. There is no sorrow. There is only great joy. Weep but briefly for your loved one, for by now Mary has obtained a pleasure that is unattainable on this Earthly Realm. For by now our Sister Peggy has seen the face of God.

Peggy was a longtime member of Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Division Six, Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY. She served as Division Recording Secy for several years. Peggy was a member of St. Anthony/St. Alphonsus Parish and worked at a law office in Manhattan. She was life Partner of Pancho Acorda. Mother of Dylan Nelson and Thomas Acorda. Mother-in-Law of Judy Nelson. She will be missed by her friends and family.
