Dear Sister & Brother Hibernians,
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Andrew J. Keane. Andrew is from a Hibernian Family, his mother Pat Keane and sister Kathryn, neice Tricia and cousins Joanie & Christina are from LAOH Div 19, Kings County and his other sister Karen, neice Sheila and Nephew Connor are from Albany Hibernians.

SEPTEMBER 21, 1967 – NOVEMBER 14, 2018 (AGE 51)
On Wednesday, November 14, 2018, Andrew John Keane, 51, while surrounded by his loving family, passed away after a long battle with lung disease. Andrew was the loving husband of Lori Hockfeld and dedicated father of Lauren, Jessica, and AJ Keane. He was the son of Patricia (Beattie) and the late John; and loyal brother of Kathryn (Ramon Santana) and Karen (late Paul Mehling). He was the son-in-law of Arlene Hockfeld and the late Tom Brooks and brother-in-law to Randy, Richie, & Jeffrey Hockfeld. Andy was the dependable uncle to Connor & Sheila Mehling; Tricia Santana; and Rachel, Justin, Jonathan, Jason, Anita, & Sofia Hockfeld.
Please stop and say a prayer for Andrew and the Keane Family.
As Andrew goes off to Tir N’ anOg.
Tir N’anOg is the place of the Blessed. There is no pain. There is no sorrow. There is only great joy.
Weep but briefly for your loved one, for by now Andrew has obtained a pleasure that is unattainable on this Earthly Realm.
For by now our brother Andrew has seen the face of God. He is at peace.

Andy was an avid New York Giants Fan and proud member of NA and the Ancient Order of Hibernians in America, Inc., Albany Division 5, where is was named “Rookie of the Year” in 2014. The family would like to thank the staff of Community Hospice especially Sherry, Jennifer, Nick, and Cylon and Andy’s Hibernian brother Peter Lounsbery.
Relatives and friends are invited and may visit with Andy’s family on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie, NY. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at 10:00 at Christ the King Church, 20 Sumter Ave. Guilderland. After the Mass, there will be a celebration of Andy’s life at the Albany Hibernian Hall, 375 Ontario Street.
