46TH ANNUAL FUN CITY BOWL On Saturday, June 2, the FDNY Bravest Football Club will be playing the NYPD Finest Football Club in the 46th Annual Fun City Bowl. This year’s game will once again be played at MCU Park, 1904 Surf Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11224. Kick-off is scheduled for 5:00 pm. The parking lot at MCU Park will be open and tailgating is encouraged so bring some friends out for a great evening of fun. Tickets are $20 for adults, children under 12 admitted for free. Tickets will be available at the gate or you can get tickets from any member of the team.
FDNY BROOKLYN MEDAL DAY Brooklyn’s Medal Day Collation for D-8, D-11, and D-15 will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2018, from 12:00 – 6:00 pm. The collation will be hosted by E245/L161, E255/L157 and E216/L108 at Brooklyn Army Terminal Pier, 140 58th Street, overlooking the NYC skyline. Admission is $25 and includes DJ, food, drink, t-shirt and mug. Follow Blue “Ferry to Manh Pier” sign. There will be plenty of parking. If traveling by subway, take the N/R line to the 59th Street Station. PLAQUE DEDICATION On Monday, June 11, 2018 at 1100 hours, a Plaque Dedication will be held honoring the memory of Lt. William J. Gormley, L-174, who died on June 14, 2017. The dedication will take place in the quarters of E-310/L-174, 5105 Snyder Ave, Brooklyn, NY. All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform. |
