| FDNY TRANSPORT FOUNDATION FUNDRAISER The FDNY Fire Family Transport Foundation Fundraiser for the Mike O’Hanlon Memorial Van will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2018, from 1:00pm – 6:00pm at the Quiet Man Public House, 15 N Division St, Peekskill, NY 10566. There is a $20 donation at the door. There will be music, light refreshments and a cash bar.
The Foundation is available around the clock to provide transportation services to active duty members, retired members and their families. They are in need of more vans to assist those that need help. The vans are in use every day and the need is increasing. Right now, there over 2,000 FDNY personnel, both active and retired, that have a WTC illness. The O’Hanlon Family would like to donate a van in Mike’s memory to give support to those in need. Throughout Mike’s illness, they were a great source of comfort and support, taking him to and from appointments, hospital visits, and just being there. All donations are welcome.
